Talking to my esteeemed colleague Ryan Pipke, and we've come up with an interesting compromise. Central has made a habit of playing at the Sun, and loves how they're treated.
What if they made it their Civic Center and played 2 big games a year there. Will you promise to go, unlike yesterday?
I think just 1 game a year at the Sun against a premire opponent (URI, UMass, PC, BC, etc) is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteIt allows CCSU to 'host' a team that would never step foot in Detrick. That's a great deal.
But NB is an easy location for mots fans and is our true home court advantage. We can get quality teams like HC, LaSalle, Vermont, Siena, etc. to our gym.
