1) Can't really judge anything from today's game, too many illnesses and injuries. Simmons' shoulder doesn't sound bad, hopefully he's back by Thursday. As for the flu, at least now I know where I got sick! Stay off campus if you can for a few days, something's going around.
You have to like the effort though. They just ran out of gas.

ReplyDeleteIs there a rich CCSU grad or fan who would want to have their name on a brand new sports palace...7,000 to 12,000 seats, 200 meter track, olympic (50-meter pool in the basement) that could be used for CIAC championships, the ballet, rock concerts, commencements etc.?
Center of state, easily accessed by highways, CCSU should be a focalpoint of Conn. sports.
Might even give some freebies fo state legislators for supporting
the Bill Millerick Center for Athletics or the Stanleydome or Dave's House of BBQ Sports Arena, Straub-Pipke Hall etc. -- you get the gist.
